"Where better to care for the soul than in the details of our daily lives?....The soul has an absolute, unforgiving need for regular excursions into enchantment. It requires them like the body needs food and the mind needs thought... An enchanted world is one that speaks to the soul, to the mysterious depths of the heart and imagination where we find value, love and union with the world around us. As mystics of many religions have taught, that sense of rapturous union can give a sense of fulfillment that makes life purposeful and vibrant." ~ Thomas Moore.

Series: "IN AWE OF MOTHER NATURE'' Cricket Choir

''Thirst for Knowledge'' by Josephine Wall

"Beneath the clouds lives the Earth-Mother from whom is derived the Water of Life, who at her bosom feeds plants, animals and men"   ~ (an Algonquin legend)

This post is one of a series I'm going to do entitled ''IN AWE OF MOTHER NATURE''. Many have recognized a Father, but far too few recognize the Mother. She is the one who is most neglected. Loving Her brings blessings to ones life that are unimaginable. When I invited Her back into my life, it changed to one of Beauty, beauty and more beauty.

I live in awe of Mother Nature. I literally feel Her love, feel Her breezes on my skin. I breathe Her air. Her water becomes my water, Her foods are my foods. Her heartbeat is the magnetic field we live in. She revels and plays in the sun during the day, and basks and holds us in the peaceful dark of night. In the day she gives us the birds to sing us awake and to make us laugh. At night she gives us a harmonic Choir of Angels.....we call them crickets.
Her evening crikets sing to us with Angelic Choir. Listen to them....you will never be the same again.

I live in awe of Her. She never ceases to surprise me. She plays in Her own Gardens and invites us all to frolic with Her. And I do.

This week it is about Gardens.

A Delightsome Life
