There are some people in the world, who possess riches in their hearts and souls.
These people are givers. They give for no reason. They give because it makes them happy.
This Gift of Spirit far surpasses the gift itself.
It is the giver who IS the Gift.
I have the benefit of having one such person in my life, who I've never even met. She is the Bubbles of Blogland, the effervescence that arrives in my email with every post I make.
One day a couple months ago, I received a box in the mail. I was not expecting anything, and then I saw the name of the sender, and my spirits rose, my face tilted up to the skies and my eyes closed.
I became expanded already, just from knowing there was something in my hands that had no other reason other than that the giver was full of joy and life in her heart enough to share.
Palomasea of these lovely online soft spots.....
http://wittyandwisewednesdays.blogspot.com/
http://lovelyreveries.blogspot.com/
reads, she feels, she pays attention, she is alert, and sensitive, and she is moved. She is Alive.
It was the most fun opening this box, as it happened to arrive on a day I most needed something for my Spirit, something to help me see the joy in life again. Palomasea has an uncanny ability to tap into this timing with Divine precision. I opened the box.....
to be flooded with bright cheery color, perfume, and sparkles......this alone is a gift!
addressed to me personally.....not just a gift, but a special note.....
and several individually wrapped surprises......with more sparkles and more shimmer.......
She knows I love tea...... and gifted me with some...I will make another cup right now
and of course! something with bit of gold and Paris, don't you know.... :-)
and more inside that one!...........it seemed to not end, the little treasures to open.....
even the smallest treasure was not denied an eloquent packaging, with care and ribbons and sparkles!
and because she not only reads, but she pays atention as a Highly Sensitive Person does....she remembered one of my most favorite scents in the world.....Gardenia
what is this ??
oh no......sighhhhhh........{ oh yes! lol }
another of my favorite things......Rose......in anything.......to eat, to smell, to see.....ROSE......
and not that my favorite things were all in box within a beautiful box.....but they were laying in another of my favorite things.....crushed tulle !......another luscious piece to drape somewhere.....
oh Palomoasea, whatever did I do to deserve all this?
another box.....it didn't end.....this gift box defied the laws of physics !
lolol
French biscuits......these were gone pretty quickly I must say.......were perfect with the tea...
the box itself was the old fashioned kind of boxes, made of real soft cardboard. I wanted to save it :D:D:D
a table full of festive gifts from a kind soul.....
I found a place in the Gardens to drape the tulle.....it seemed appropriate over this statue.....
I think she liked it
Thank you Palomasea for your kindnesses to me, and your ever lovely effervescence !
Do you know that this individual is my best friend? She has the most generous spirit, and this description is simply not good enough. It's been a long time since I've known anyone like her who gives so much of herself to others in listening, standing by all your whims, dreams and efforts, and who is there to help you pick up the pieces.
ReplyDeleteYou have received a most special gift dearest Lady. LOVE THE TULLE!
oh yes, Anita, I know she is your friend, and lucky for you both....and for me too. I don't know, as I said what I did, but my goodness, what a jewel she is.
DeleteI haven't heard from her in a couple of weeks, if you do please send her my love and warmest hugs.
That is very sweet, and I think you're right about that box defying the laws of physics. ;o) How did all those goodies fit inside there? It's like the Tardis or Santa's toy bag. Lol!

Good afternoon dearest Lady!
ReplyDeleteThank you for taking a break to come visit me and for leaving me a comment. The beauty of every day for me is to communicate with kindred spirits, and you understand what I'm saying...looking for something beautiful in places or people that are not the typical "beautiful" that we are taught to see. I hope you are well and enjoying some rest and GOOD HEALTH! Anita
