"Where better to care for the soul than in the details of our daily lives?....The soul has an absolute, unforgiving need for regular excursions into enchantment. It requires them like the body needs food and the mind needs thought... An enchanted world is one that speaks to the soul, to the mysterious depths of the heart and imagination where we find value, love and union with the world around us. As mystics of many religions have taught, that sense of rapturous union can give a sense of fulfillment that makes life purposeful and vibrant." ~ Thomas Moore.

Scent of White Beauty

Just wanting to say hello to all, and I have only a little bit of something to share, but it says more than I can.

No matter what one experiences, to see the beauty in flowers tells me I am still very much alive.

My birthday passed recently, and my housemate brought me Pure White Casablanca Lilies the night before. Since those blossoms opened each day and released their exquisite fragrance into my beautiful bedroom, I have wanted only to be surrounded by Pure White Lilies.....and I have.

I had not told anyone about this birthday and so no one could celebrate with me. I got depressed about it after all.
I had always believed that birthdays should always be celebrated and that every year should be a bigger and bigger one. I always thought by the time I was 50! that I would need to rent a hall! to accommodate all the people who showed up to my ''gifted'' birthday party ~. I was wrong. No large halls to rent nor tulle gowns.
But my practical Taurean housemate remembered and brought me little presents :D.....however, they all had a single 'strange' theme!.....centered around his favorite thing......sweets!
He bought me a set of measuring cups! So I wouldn't have to hurt my pretty head about figuring out how to do powders with liquid measures! and be more encouraged to make things. He bought me an electric mixer so I'd have no excuse that I couldn't mix by hand! and be encouraged to make things. And he bought me a tray for making cupcakes, something I'd never expressed interest in in my life but I guess the suggestion may be encouraging me??? ya think?! sheesh! sweets~! the fastest way to disease and aging, fun as they are! lol

I only want my Praline Pumpkin Cheesecake and I think its time any day now for that one LOL

But here are some exquisite expressions of the Beauty of Mother Nature in all her White Glory that I have kept in my home since last month, February 6th to be precise :D:D:D

Every morning I light 3 tea lights, one on each side of the Lilies, and one for the coffee table behind. Incense stick to accompany the flame for the Spirit of Humanity.

In my room......the walls still enchantingly Silver Pearl.........the scent permeates.......and I am reminded of Gardens from Heaven......

My console table greets you with white, silver, the glow of candle, and the Pure White of Lily,
and its scent !?......... siggghhhhhhhhh..........the very Heart of the Mother.....

 Walk in Beauty,

  1. What gorgeous photos, those lilies are magnificent, I can almost smell them through the computer! Belated happy birthday. My mom's birthday was 2/9, however, a family tale says she was really born on the 6th, but due to a blizzard, her birth didn't get recorded until the 9th. She was delivered by a midwife at home. xo

  2. Beautiful Photography~ you are truly gifted. Happy Birthday! I have always said that we should share our Birthdays and especially Birthday cake! It is good luck to share Birthday cake! I try to surround myself with people I love and people who love me. Of course one can't do that every year but we try. I wish that you have a blessed year ahead of you where all of your dreams come true.

    1. I'd really like to begin bloggin more often again. I do other work online and it is quite serious business and no fun, but I'm getting sick of it again :D and maybe just need to be a ''blogger'' for a while...maybe its a pattern.
Quiet birthday you want? I think you have a large family and you need quiet, and I have no one and want a party LOL
      thank you,

  4. MY DEAR! First of all, we have not seen you in so long! I know you have had other things to do, but it is a welcoming sight to see your new post!

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY! I know how it feels to have a birthday pass over you....when I turned 50, my best friend at that time never showed up. It really hurt. I will be 55 next month and it will just be like any other day. I look at it like this now:

EVERY DAY IS A DAY OF REBIRTH in the spirit. The body ages, the date comes, but many do not remember or acknowledge it. Oh well.....but what matters now to me is the fact that my spirit is being reborn every day.

YOUR FLOWERS LOOK STUNNING! My 31st wedding anniversary was March 6 and my husband got me a fabulous bouquet of white tulips that looked so VIBRANT in my dining room. Oh the love of white...

Blessings of love to you...NAMASTE! Anita

The lilies stop everyone in their tracks....and igve off their scent at night.....today I had to give a stem to my housemates mom who even stopped to ask if they were real, and their beauty is really heavenly!
I never want to be without white lilies again LOL
