Fragrant White Flowers

White Amarylis
I love flowers, nature, greens of almost any kind. It is why I became a Florist. I garden now, and take care of the living ones instead of arranging ones that were cut, arranged and sold to others. I began after a number of years in the business to feel the flowers themselves. They were unhappy at being cut, their last sentiments in life were sadness. I couldn't take it anymore, so now I garden and grow them. I only cut a few if I must and I always ask permission. Sometimes I don't have to because their abundance in growth tells me they did so just for me. This may sound amazing to some, but its true. Please watch this documentary "The Secret Life of Plants".

I've been craving flowers around me, their essence, their energy, their information, something......but I need them, and in this moment its peonies. I don't know why, I haven't had them in years, and they don't grow in Florida, and when they are sold they are expensive, but I'm craving them. I got some Casablanca Lilies, which I loved. Peonies will come later I think.

I took some pics, but I'm not a photographer....yet.......when I've completed making my surroundings entirely palatial, I will take it up. These are Easter lilies which I have hanging on the towel rack in the bath. I have decided I love their fragrance, they are in top favorites scents. Every time I walk in, it caresses my spirit.

This was a Casablanca lily. A royal flower indeed! These are sitting by my computer and it releases its scent in a certain way, in a certain hour....I swear they are speaking to me when they do that....I know they are. I wish I could disappear into the scent itself.

A bowl of fragrant Gardenias. There is a house with a couple of large bushes, they let me pick them. I use this water they soak in as a face splash and in my bidet bowl and in my bath. I wear one in my hair too and I smell the Gardenia with every move of my head.

The white ''flowers'' of the Mineral Kingdom........the Quartz Crystal.

I hope you enjoyed my White Flowers.
